Qaynarinfo xəbər verir ki, bu sözləri NATO Baş katibi Yens Stoltenberq ilə görüşdən sonra birgə mətbuat konfransı təşkil edən Fransa prezidenti Emmanuel Makron deyib.

NATO Baş katibi Yens Stoltenberq isə Avropa Birliyinin Avropanı təkbaşına müdafiə edə bilməyəcəyini qeyd edib:

"NATO-nun güclü təməlləri var və NATO modernləşməyə davam edəcək”.

Bundan başqa Stoltenberq ABŞ-ın NATO-nun hərbi xərclərinə bundan sonra az maliyyə dəstəyi verəcəyini, Almaniyanınsa daha çox pul köçürəcəyini bildirib.

Xatırladaq ki, Ankara NATO-nun Suriyada PKK/YPG ilə mübarizədə Türkiyəyə dəstək verməməsinə cavab olaraq NATO-nun Baltikyanı ölkələr və Polşa ilə bağlı müdafiə planlarını dəstəkləməkdən imtina etdiyini bəyan etmişdi.
