Türkmənistana səfəri zamanı mətbuat konfransında danışan Putin Consonun nəzəriyyəsinin təkzibi kimi Böyük Britaniyanın sabiq lideri Marqaret Tetçerin Folklend adasına qoşun yeritmək qərarını göstərib.

"Mən sadəcə Marqaret Tetçerin Folklend adaları üçün Argentinaya qarşı hərbi əməliyyatlara başlamaq qərarına gəldiyi yaxın tarixin hadisələrini xatırlamaq istəyirəm. Yəni, bir qadın hərbi əməliyyata başlamaq qərarına gəldi”, - Putin jurnalistlərə cavabında deyib.

"Buna görə də, Böyük Britaniyanın baş nazirinin bu gün baş verənlərə istinadı dəqiq deyil”,- o deyib.

Putin həmçinin Britaniyanın imperial siyasətini də tənqid edib.

"Folklend adaları hara, Britaniya hara? Tetçerin hərəkətləri imperiya ambisiyaları və imperiya statusunu təsdiqləmək istəyindən başqa bir şey deyildi",- o bildirib.
